Complete Front Cab and Aprons

Development and manufacture of various GRP front cabs including aprons. Faserplast’s work begins with the exterior design of the train front. From this, the cab and aprons are engineered, FEM-calculated, and drawings are produced. In addition, tooling and jigs through to the assembled and painted assembly are manufactured in our own facility. Depending on requirements, structural bonded joints according to DIN EN 17460 and compliance with fire protection requirements such as EN 45545-2 HL2 are implemented.

Delivery is provided as a fully validated system assembly (plug-and-play). Consolidating the entire value chain with a single partner drastically reduces logistical complexity and enables the cab to be integrated directly into the vehicle manufacturer’s production line.
