Robust enclosures and protective solutions

Mission-critical composite assemblies for special vehicles and special applications

Engineering and fully documented series production of protective and structural components for special, government and emergency vehicles and further applications.

Lightweight. Protected. Reliable when it matters.

Mission-critical composites, operational solutions when it matters

When operational reliability decides between success and failure, Faserplast Composites AG delivers experienced engineering and fully documented series production of extremely lightweight protective and structural components for special, government and emergency vehicles. From the durable engine hood to the highly complex water tank for fire-fighting vehicles, every component is designed for maximum load capacity under extreme conditions.

From numerous projects for special, government and emergency vehicles, we know the requirements exactly.

We deliver production-ready product design and manufacture both individual parts and assembled units in stable, documented quality, reliably delivered directly to your assembly line. Our material selection holds up when it matters, namely under highly dynamic impact loads, weathering, chemical stress and throughout the entire service life. In doing so, we consider the full lifecycle, including spare parts supply over decades, so that your vehicles remain operational.

Why Faserplast

Strategic system partner with full responsibility

We focus on being the composite partner that brings your project to success, precisely when the requirements for protection, reliability and documentation are highest. We don’t just deliver simple GRP claddings, but develop, produce and assemble finished, protective assemblies with integrated functions and mounting points.

Material engineering for maximum protection

For applications in extreme environments, we specifically integrate high-performance fibers such as aramid (Kevlar). Aramid structures offer outstanding energy absorption under highly dynamic impact loads and form the basis of modern protection concepts. Anti-fragmentation floors absorb kinetic energy and effectively protect the vehicle interior from fragmentation. For increased safety requirements, rubberized aramid panels are used, guaranteeing maximum resistance at minimal weight. In addition, thermal insulation and effective sound insulation can be integrated directly into the GRP structure, saving installation space.

Validated quality for the critical case

Components such as water and foam tanks for fire-fighting vehicles must function absolutely maintenance-free and reliably in operation. In this sensitive market environment, complete traceability is mandatory. Our quality management system documents every process step, from the resin batch number to the digital recording of curing parameters. To objectively prove the level of protection, specific impact tests can be carried out and validated in accredited laboratories.

System integration and lightweight construction

We deliver ready-to-install assemblies including fittings and seals, optimized for your assembly line. Compared to steel armor, we achieve a significant weight saving at a comparable protection level, which benefits the payload, range and driving dynamics of the emergency vehicles.

Discretion and supply over decades

As an owner-managed Swiss company, we guarantee discreet project handling as well as long-term tool archiving to ensure spare parts supply over decades. This keeps your vehicles supplied long after the end of series production.

Measurable. Not just a promise.

Where the advantage is created

30 – 50 %

less weight

At a comparable protection level, the composite assembly is significantly lighter than steel armor. This increases payload, range and mobility in operation.

100 %

documented traceability

Every process step is fully documented, from the resin batch number to the digitally recorded curing parameters. In the sensitive operational environment, this is non-negotiable.

Decades

secured spare parts supply

Through long-term tool archiving, your assemblies remain available for decades, even long after the end of series production.
